The PI is currently working as a tenure-track Assistant Professor (Data Science/Machine Learning) in the School of Computing, Southern Illinois University. He is also the Director of Learning, Optimization, and Analysis from Data Lab (LOAD Lab) at School of Computing, SIU. Previously, He was working as a Research Assistant Professor in Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) and was working as a Computational Scientist in the Department of Computer Science, Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA).

The Learning, Optimization, and Analysis from Data Lab (LOAD Lab) is established at SIU to lay the foundations for AI/ML techniques that contribute to the scientific understanding of big streaming data, bioinformatics, and medical pyhsics. We focus on foundational innovation in artificial intelligence and machine learning with an emphasis on online optimization, machine learning and deep learning techniques, and the wide applications.
